About AIU
The establishment of the inter-University Board (IUB) of India on 23″ March 1925 marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of Indian higher education. Recognizing the critical need for a cohesive platform to streamline university activities and safeguard the welfare of students and institutions alike, the lUB emerged as a beacon of collaboration across diverse domains such as education, culture and sports. This visionary initiative evolved into the esteemed Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in 1973, a premier institution that now stands at the forefront of India’s educational journey.
